The Special Investigation Team, which is probing the drug scandal, has issued a media statement late tonight. Soon after completing Puri’s interrogation, Excise Enforcement Director Akun Sabarwal along with the SIT spoke to media in which he said, “Director Puri Jagannadh has been examined today. Cinematographer Shyam K. Naidu will be examined tomorrow. The investigation has been going on at a pace.”
Briefing the media, the SIT told media that director Puri Jagannadh has ‘given clues’ that are expected to ‘fasten’ the ongoing probe. “Puri has totally cooperated with the examination. He gave several clues. Voluntarily blood samples were given,” SIT officer told media.
Soon after the 10-hour-long interrogation, Puri has left to his residence. Puri’s younger brother Sai Ram Shankar and Puri’s son Akash have been accompanying Puri.
