Puri Jagannath is highest paid Tollywood celebrity in recent times.Puri doesn’t take remuneration for his films. He asks for a share of profits in the total business done and most of the times his movies are sell outs. For Businessman he reportedly got a share of seven crore rupees. His share for Devudu Chesina Manushulu would be somewhere around five crores at the minimum.
Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu is getting superb offers and Puri is likely to get at least eight crores as his share for this film. He will also complete Allu Arjun’s film this year. He would get five to six crores for that movie. Which means Puri’s income this year wouldn’t be less than twenty five crore rupees. If DCM, CGR and Allu Arjun films turn out to be hits, his share would go up. Hence, no other star would come close to Puri’s earnings this year. Working at a rocket speed is helping Puri to make quick money and he is happy with it.
