If there is one person in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana who popularized the tourist spot Bangkok, it ought to be director Puri Jagannadh. Through his movies, he has made it very popular. For the last 12 years, he has been heading to Bangkok and Pattayya whenever he finds free time to have story discussions or for relaxing. But recently, he started having fancy for Goa. Instead of filming in Bangkok, he recently filmed major part of his movies like Heart Attack, Temper and Jyothi Lakshmi in Goa and surrounding areas.
So the industry has started believing that he has moved his den from Thailand to Goa beaches. But surprising everyone, the writer-director again went to Bangkok to finish off the scripting work for his next movie and has just returned to Hyderabad. According to his close friends, he still prefers Bangkok than any other destination as it offers everything that he needs.
