edits. Composer Sam CS, who was initially brought on board for the film’s background score (BGM), made claims that he had composed 90% of the soundtrack, implying that Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) had little involvement.
However, a closer examination of the soundtrack released by Sam on YouTube revealed a different story. The version Sam shared was found to be less than 50% of the total soundtrack work, raising questions about his earlier claims. This discrepancy suggests that it was, in fact, DSP who played a much larger role in composing the music for Pushpa 2 than Sam had initially suggested.
While Sam’s assertion of being responsible for the majority of the score raised eyebrows, the reality of the situation seems to paint a different picture—one where DSP, the original composer for the film, clearly had the lion’s share of involvement in crafting the music that became synonymous with the film’s success. The situation has sparked further discussions about musical credits and the complexities behind the scenes of blockbuster films.
