Priyadarshi steps into the role of a lawyer in his upcoming film Court: State Vs Nobody, which is set for release on March 14th.

Speaking about the film’s journey, Priyadarshi revealed that director Ram Jagadeesh first narrated the basic plot to him nearly two years ago. It took the filmmaker six months to develop the complete script. “While I was in Goa shooting for Hi Nanna with Nani, I mentioned this story to him. Nani was intrigued and wanted to hear it. After listening, he immediately confirmed that we should go ahead with the project. That’s how the movie took shape,” Priyadarshi shared.

To prepare for his role, Priyadarshi undertook extensive research to ensure authenticity. “I consulted real lawyers to understand legal cases, including POCSO and the associated punishments. I closely observed how lawyers and judges present themselves in court—their attire, body language, and speech. I paid attention to even the smallest details to bring realism to my character,” he explained.

The team is also planning special screenings for legal professionals. “We intend to showcase the film to lawyers and members of the Bar Council. Some Bar Council members who have already watched portions of the film have given positive feedback. We also plan to invite Advocate General Sudarshan Reddy to a screening,” Priyadarshi added.

Reflecting on Nani’s involvement and encouragement, Priyadarshi shared insights from the film’s pre-release event. “Nani’s confidence in the story meant a lot. He is known for his keen script selection. After hearing the story, he said, ‘We have a good story here; let’s make it great.’ Later, after watching the film, he admitted, ‘I thought it would be one thing, but it turned out even better.’”

With strong backing from Nani and meticulous efforts in bringing legal authenticity to the screen, Priyadarshi is confident that Court: State Vs Nobody will not only receive critical acclaim but also find commercial success.
