Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated and long-delayed film Ustaad Bhagat Singh is finally progressing at a brisk pace, with the star recently allotting dedicated dates for the shoot. The makers are keen to complete production at the earliest, aiming for a timely release.
While it is already known that Sreeleela plays the female lead in the film, the team has now welcomed actress Raashi Khanna on board for a pivotal role. This marks Raashi’s first collaboration with Pawan Kalyan, making it a significant opportunity for her to showcase her acting prowess alongside a top star. Known for balancing glamorous roles with strong performances, Raashi has not been part of any major projects lately and is reportedly placing high hopes on both Ustaad Bhagat Singh and her upcoming film Telusu Kada with Siddhu Jonnalagadda.
Sreeleela, too, is currently navigating a rough patch in her career, with a few recent projects not meeting expectations. Both actresses see Ustaad Bhagat Singh as a crucial film that could potentially rejuvenate their careers if they manage to make a strong impression.
At present, the film’s shoot is underway in Hyderabad, with Raashi Khanna actively participating in the schedule. The current leg of shooting is expected to continue till the end of the month.
Directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is shaping up to be a commercial entertainer with high expectations riding on it.
