Rabhasa Hasn’t Upset Pranitha

Pranitha Subhash, and the name rings those wide-eyes and swan-like walks from ‘Bapu Bomma’ song in super hit Attarintidi Daredi. Ask her if she is getting typecast in similar second fiddle roles in a row, the Bangalore siren is quick to say a big no.

‘I’ve not expected this rousing reception in filmdom, but today I’m star irrespective of my number in the race. I’m proud of it and never regret that I dropped studying Medicine’, says an elated Pranitha. Furthermore, she praised Tollywood for patronizing her though she is non-Telugu speaking girl. Talking about her continuous second fiddle roles, she got to make a point. ‘Trend in Telugu films at the moment is multi-heroine. Attarintiki, Pandavulu and latest Rabhasa offered me similar roles, but I’m happy that audiences are happy with it’

Is Pranitha little upset that Samantha is walking away with all attention in Rabhasa? ‘I’ve got a nice commercial role, the kind of, audiences are expecting to see me. And I’ve my space for the magic, there is no question of upset’, she clarifies. Good luck Bapu Bomma!
