A section of Prabhas fans is currently worried about an interesting sentiment surrounding his films. They point out that movies like Raghavendra, Rebel, and Radhe Shyam—all titles beginning with the letter “R”—ended up as flops or disasters, sparking superstition-driven concerns.

With The Raja Saab scheduled for release on January 9, these worries have resurfaced. However, fans are drawing some comfort from the fact that the title carries the prefix “The,” which they believe might help break the so-called “R” sentiment. That said, many still casually refer to the film as Raja Saab, keeping the debate alive.

On the promotional front, while the first teaser created strong excitement and received a positive response, the subsequent songs failed to generate the expected buzz. This has further added to the nervousness among fans.

That said, there’s an old box-office saying—when expectations are low ahead of a release, even an average film can surprise and emerge as a hit. Whether this theory works in favour of The Raja Saab remains to be seen. For now, fans can only hope for the best.
