After the Congress party lost the 2018 elections cheaply, former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has upped the game and started targeting the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The Congress leader is not leaving any stone unturned to slam the Central government and the decisions taken by the government in recent times.
The former Congress chief was in Tamil Nadu. The main agenda behind his visit is to campaign for the party ahead of the 2021 Assembly elections and interact with the farmers.During his visit, Rahul Gandhi took part in a YouTube cooking show called ‘Village Cooking Channel’. Along with the cooks, Rahul Gandhi prepared Mushroom Biryani. The video gained more than one million views
In the video, Rahul Gandhi can be seen wearing a blue t-shirt and black pants. He greets the cooks in Tamil ‘Vanakkam’ and takes part in Biryani making. He mixes the ingredients for Raita and even checks the taste.Rahul Gandhi has interacted with the cooks. When the cooks told him that they have a dream of going abroad to the United States, Rahul asked them if he can help them in making arrangements for them to go abroad.
After accompanying them in preparing the Mushroom Biryani, the cooks served the dish to Rahul Gandhi on a banana leaf. After tasting the Biryani, Rahul Gandhi said ‘nalla iruku’ (It’s good).After having the food Rahul Gandhi left from there. While bidding goodbye, Rahul expressed his happiness of being served the dish. He added that they should make him try the dish when he visits the place again.
