Income Tax sleuths are currently conducting raids at 14 Reels offices at the moment. As per reports the raids will continue till late night. Nothing has been reported yet about the seizing of documents etc. It might be a casual raid as it is most common these days to conduct raids on the big producers right before the release of their film.
14 Reels is making so much buzz in media in the recent past as their latest film 1 Nenokkadine has been making headlines almost every day. Recently media was abuzz that the rights of this film were acquired by Eros International for a whopping Rs. 72 crore. This might have triggered IT officials to conduct raids on the offices of 14 Reels.
Recently many such raids have happened and there was nothing sensational about them. So we can expect these raids also ends up as casual or formal raids before the release. Now producer Dil Raju also must be alert as his film Yevadu is due for release in few days.
