S S Rajamouli’s name was the most heard in the year 2015. This man from Telugu land put Telugu cinema on world map by recreating history books in Indian box office with his hit film Baahubali.You name the record and Rajamouli has broken it with his film. Now, the legendary director has been awarded with the Indian of the Year Award by the CNN group some time earlier today in a VIP studded event in Delhi.
The jury felt that it was Rajamouli who deserved this award more than anyone else. Rajamouli beat other fellow nominees like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to win this prestigious award which is given every year for those who contribute to Indian cinema in every way.
Indeed it is a proud moment for Tollywood and Rajamouli has written his name in golden letters in the history of Indian Cinema.
