Following the massive success of RRR, acclaimed director S.S. Rajamouli is now working on a new project starring Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. This upcoming film, a forest adventure action thriller, has already begun shooting despite no official announcement yet. Rajamouli is determined to complete the film at a rapid pace and has already wrapped up two shooting schedules.
This film marks the 29th movie in Mahesh Babu’s career and is currently referred to by the working title SSMB29. The film unit is currently on a summer break. During this downtime, Rajamouli traveled to London to attend the RRR live concert held at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, while Mahesh Babu enjoyed a family vacation abroad.
Fans and the industry alike are eagerly awaiting the resumption of shooting for SSMB29. Sources reveal that Rajamouli and his team are planning the next shooting schedule, which is set to begin from June 1 in Hyderabad. This upcoming schedule will feature several crucial scenes to be shot on a specially constructed set. Once the Hyderabad schedule is completed, the crew plans to head overseas for further shooting.
Notably, actress Priyanka Chopra is also expected to join the shoot during this Hyderabad schedule. Mahesh Babu is likely to return soon from his international trip to participate in the upcoming shoot.
Significantly, a large portion of the film will be shot in various locations across Africa. Rajamouli and his team have already finalized and locked several key locations there. The film is produced on a grand scale by K.L. Narayana, with actor Prithviraj Sukumaran playing a pivotal role.
