Rajendra Prasad strongly reacted to Jayasudha’s comments about the Telugu film industry being a male-dominated industry. Saying that she had merely read out a note written by another man, Rajendra Prasad pointed out that every film has a hero and heroine. Also, Jayasudha is one artiste who received lots of recognition and love from the industry and she cannot forget all that by making such statements, he said.
Jayasudha should also recollect the love that Savitri and other female artistes enjoyed in the industry, he said. Though he is being called a politician, Rajendra Prasad said that it was Jayasudha who was a MLA in the past and she is now being supported by a MP, he said.
He also expressed doubts about the manner in which the actual elections would be held and alleged that the time period for elections was stretched without any reason. He claimed that he had the capacity to win over even the CM with a smile and he did not need politics to win the post and once again reiterated that members of both panels were his very own people.
Rajendra Prasad requested the movie artistes to vote for him for change and to help poor artistes. “I am everybody’s friend. Though I am being accused of threatening the other candidate, it was I who was threatened,” said Rajendra Prasad.
