When actress Rakul Preet Singh made her Tollywood debut with Venkatadri Express, nobody expected that she would become so busy here. But, a series of top-league films including Ram Charan’s Dhruva, NTR’s Nannaku Prematho and Bruce Lee has certainly cemented her position in Telugu Industry.
Although she made her first film appearance in Bollywood’s Yaariyan, she never tried her second luck there. But, she has finally grabbed an interesting project that’s being directed by Neeraj Pandey and Siddharth Kapoor in playing lead role in it. The tall and leggy lass who finished the first schedule of her second Bollywood film in New Delhi revealed how she missed her first opportunity to act under Neeraj’s direction.
‘I always loved Neeraj sir’s movies and he offered me Disha Patani’s (Dhoni’s ex-lover) role in his previous flick MS Dhoni.’ said Rakul by adding that she had to opt out of ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ considering the prior commitments but she is very much happy that she didn’t miss it this time. Rakul, being one of the workaholic actress, is high exited to be working with her favorite actor of Bollywood – Siddharth Kapor and other co-artist Manoj Bajpayee in the film.
Coming to her Telugu projects, Rakul is currently part of Mahesh Babu’s SPYder, that is gearing up for release very soon and her another film ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ under the direction of Boyapati will be up for release on 11th August.
