The buzz around Global Star Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana’s upcoming film Peddi is only intensifying as the team reaches a new stage of production. After wrapping major action blocks at Ramoji Film City, the crew is preparing for a fresh schedule as Bollywood beauty Janhvi Kapoor rejoins the shoot on July 12. With nearly 40 days of production remaining, the focus will now shift to capturing romantic scenes and song sequences between the lead pair, generating excitement among fans.
Janhvi, playing the female lead opposite Charan, is set to film some crucial emotional and romantic scenes. Early glimpses of their onscreen chemistry have already created a strong buzz. Though Janhvi was away briefly due to other commitments, her return promises to add more glamour and intensity to the project.
Following the Hyderabad schedule, the team will move to Delhi by the end of the month for a key week-long shoot. This change in backdrop is expected to bring visual richness and new dynamics to the film’s narrative. The makers aim to wrap up the shoot by August, despite the large scale of the project.
Produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers and Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi also features an exciting soundtrack by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman. Slated for release on March 27, 2026, the movie is shaping up to be a spectacle with its unique blend of sports action, romance, and drama — and as filming progresses, so too does the anticipation.
