Ram Charan Begins Dubbing for Peddi Ahead of April 30 Release

Ram Charan has officially begun dubbing for his role in the upcoming pan-India film Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana.

The makers recently released a video offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the dubbing studio. In the footage, a rugged and bearded Ram Charan is seen intensely focused, carefully syncing his voice to match the powerful on-screen moments of his character.

The video also captures a playful moment between Charan and Buchi Babu Sana. The actor teasingly remarks that he was dubbing for his character—not for the director—referring humorously to Buchi Babu’s visible excitement during the making of the song “Chikiri Chikiri.” The exchange reflects the strong creative camaraderie between the duo.

Set against a rural, period backdrop, Peddi requires Ram Charan to deliver a distinct dialect and heightened vocal intensity, making the dubbing phase especially crucial. With the film now entering its final stages of post-production, the start of dubbing signals that the project is gearing up for release.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi is slated to hit theatres on April 30. Meanwhile, the film’s second single is set to be unveiled tomorrow, adding to the growing anticipation surrounding the project.
