Telugu cinema is abuzz as global star Ram Charan and acclaimed director Sukumar are set to join forces once again, a collaboration officially announced on Charan’s birthday. Currently busy with his film Peddi, Charan will reunite with the director of Rangasthalam, raising high expectations among fans eager to see what this powerhouse duo delivers next.
Sukumar, known for his blockbuster Pushpa, has been producing films under his banner Sukumar Writings for the past decade, backing hits across diverse genres—from the romantic Kumari 21F and Uppena to the horror hit Virupaksha, as well as 18 Pages and Gandhitho Chettu. His knack for delivering unique and engaging stories has positioned him as one of Telugu cinema’s most influential filmmakers.
Over the next two years, six films are lined up under Sukumar Writings, including Peddi (produced in partnership with Buchi Babu Sana) and a new Naga Chaitanya film with Karthik Dandula. Following Peddi, Sukumar will take on dual roles as director and producer for a new Ram Charan film, with scriptwriting already underway and previsualization in progress, reflecting meticulous planning for an ambitious project.
In addition, three more films are poised to start shooting soon, though details remain under wraps.
