Global Star Ram Charan is widely known not just for his stellar acting, but also for his deep spiritual beliefs. Every year, he undertakes the sacred 41-day Ayyappa Deeksha, wearing the holy mala and adhering to a strict spiritual regimen with unwavering devotion.
Echoing her own spiritual path, his wife Upasana Konidela is equally devoted—a staunch follower of Sai Baba. Every year, starting on Guru Purnima, she begins the 9-week Sai Baba Vrat, practicing it with sincerity and faith.
In a heartfelt video shared on social media, Upasana shared,
“I think everyone should find what they spiritually connect with. For my husband, it’s Ayyappa Swami. For me, it’s Sai Baba.”
Recounting her personal experience, she opened up about how her devotion began during a difficult phase in life:
“I was going through a very tough time and felt shaken. Someone suggested I try the Sai Baba Vrat. As I began reading the story, my outlook changed. I started feeling more positive.”
Now, Upasana is inviting others to join her in this 9-week spiritual journey starting this Guru Purnima, July 10. Her story stands as a beautiful reminder that faith—whatever form it takes—can offer healing, strength, and inner peace.
