Ram Nath Kovind Grand Triumph In Presidential Election 2017

Raja Saab, produced by People Media Factory in the Prabhas–Maruthi combination, is gearing up for a Sankranti release. As the film enters its marketing phase, trade discussions around its theatrical rights have picked up pace.

Unlike most of its recent films, which were sold on advance-based deals, People Media Factory has reportedly decided to opt for the non-refundable advance (NRA) model for Raja Saab. Talks with buyers have already begun. According to trade sources, the Andhra area (excluding Rayalaseema) is being quoted at around ₹85 crore, while the Uttarandhra region alone is valued at approximately ₹21 crore.

For comparison, Pushpa 2 was marketed in the Andhra region at close to ₹100 crore, making Raja Saab’s price slightly lower. If Andhra is pegged at ₹85 crore, Rayalaseema could fetch around ₹40 crore, and the Nizam territory is expected to go for close to ₹70 crore. Reports indicate that People Media Factory is keen to sell the Nizam rights under the NRA model as well.

Based on these estimates, the theatrical rights for Raja Saab across the two Telugu states are expected to be valued at close to ₹200 crore, highlighting the massive expectations surrounding the film.
