According to latest reports, producer ‘Sravanthi’ Ravi Kishore has bought the Telugu remake rights of hit Tamil film Velai Illa Pattathari (VIP) for a fancy price. The movie featuring Dhanush turned out to be blockbuster and stood as highest grosser in Tamil for the year 2014.
We hear that Ravi Kishore would cast his nephew Ram Pothineni in the film. Of late, Ram has been struggling to score a success. His previous flicks Endukante Premanta, Ongole Githa and Masala have bombed at BO. He is now planning to resurrect his sagging career. Ram will start working on Telugu VIP after wrapping up his present commitment ‘Pandaga Chesko’. However, Ravi Kishore is now hunting for good director to handle this film.
