Blame it on fame, gorgeous looks or the fact that cupid’s arrows strike again and again in the glamour world, but film personalities have to face the ugly truth of infidelity, divorces and break-ups ever so often.
Kollywood actress and VJ Ramya who got married to Jayaraman on February 21, 2014, filed for divorce on May 1st this year. Ramya has disclosed that she had decided to end marital life just in 10 days after the marriage. It is really shocking, but we have to believe it since the news has been unveiled by the starlet herself on social media.
Nevertheless, Ramya condemned the reports of accepting O Kadhal Kanmani (Ok Bangaram in Telugu) is reason for the divorce. “I was shooting in Malaysia for Jodi finale after I tweeted about my divorce. So, to reiterate, those speculations that the separation is because of my decision to do films, are totally false. I just don’t want to disclose the reason why we took this decision to separate because it will hurt a lot of people, including my parents and his.”
Ramya also clarified that she hasn’t asked for alimony. “It was done with mutual consent, and has been very dignified,” informs Ramya, who was introduced to Jayaraman by her parents. The starlet asserted to concentrate fully on films.
