According to highly reliable sources, Bollywood babe Rashi Khanna is being considered opposite Akhil Akkineni in his debut film. Although there are few others contending for the role, Rashi is said to be the front-runner in race and she is said to have more chances of bagging the role. “Considering her looks and good at action, Bollywood baggage of pairing up with John Abraham in Madras Cafe and she is also known to Telugu audiences.
All of these are working in favour of Rashi,” divulged a source in the know. Akhil’s superstar father Nagarjuna Akkineni and director VV Vinayak too reportedly contemplating to zero in on Rashi. However, unit sources say they are yet to finalize the heroine. Billed to be socio romantic fantasy on the lines of Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, the film’s script has apparently shaped up well. An official announcement on the film is expected shortly. Needless to say that it’ll be a grand launch for the scion of Amala Akkineni and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
