These consistent hits have placed Rashmika at the top tier in the industry. Currently, she is working on a Telugu female-oriented film titled The Girlfriend. The promotional content has already generated strong buzz, making it one of the most talked-about women-centric films in recent times. Alongside this, she is also playing a powerful role in the Bollywood project Thama. Interestingly, both these films were signed almost two years ago.
But when it comes to fresh signings, Rashmika hasn’t taken up any new projects. It’s not due to a lack of offers—directors and producers are eager to work with her. Instead, the actress seems to be following the principle that “speed can be dangerous,” carefully filtering her scripts. Rather than rushing into back-to-back roles that might not suit her, she is reportedly waiting for the right story with strong substance.
Sources suggest that she has already turned down a few recent offers in both Telugu and Hindi, preferring quality over quantity. At this stage in her career peak, Rashmika appears determined to choose only roles that add value to her pan-India image. New signings are expected only next year, as part of a clear, long-term plan.
