After completing the highly anticipated Pushpa: The Rule, Icon Star Allu Arjun has officially stepped into his next ambitious project — a massive pan-Indian film directed by Jawan fame Atlee. Tentatively titled AA22xA6, the film is being bankrolled by Sun Pictures and is currently in its pre-production stage. A grand worldwide theatrical release is being planned for late 2026 or early 2027, in multiple languages.
Atlee, known for his high-octane commercial entertainers with strong emotional cores, is reportedly building a story that spans dual universes, supported by cutting-edge visual effects. The casting is already turning heads, with Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur signed on for pivotal roles.
In a recent exciting development, Rashmika Mandanna has also joined the project. This marks her third film alongside Allu Arjun after Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa: The Rule. However, unlike the Pushpa series, her character in this film is said to be layered and performance-oriented, not as a romantic interest. Sources reveal that Rashmika has already completed her look test and body scan, signaling an important role in the storyline.
There are also industry whispers that Bhagyashri Borse, an emerging talent in the South, is being considered for a role. While her casting is yet to be confirmed, her addition could further enhance the film’s diverse and dynamic ensemble.
Interestingly, if Pushpa 3 materializes after this project, it would mark a remarkable fourth consecutive collaboration between Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna — an impressive feat in contemporary Telugu cinema.
