The relationship between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna has long been one of the most talked-about topics in Tollywood. With Vijay’s latest film Kingdom now running in theatres, the actor and producer S. Naga Vamsi recently participated in a post-release interaction with Telugu web journalists. During the conversation, Rashmika’s congratulatory tweet for the film came up, leading to an interesting revelation.
According to Naga Vamsi, Rashmika is a huge fan of Vijay and was very keen to watch Kingdom on its very first day at the iconic Sree Ramulu theatre in Hyderabad. However, due to safety concerns following recent crowd incidents and the heavy rush expected, the team advised her against attending there. Instead, she decided to watch the film at Brahmaramba theatre — and she did so in disguise, to avoid drawing attention and ensure safety.
This incident has added yet another layer to the long-standing speculation surrounding the duo. Earlier, when asked about her relationship status at a public event, Rashmika remarked that there was no need to clarify “as people already know.” In the same interview, when Vijay was asked about any “good news” in the near future, he simply smiled and replied, “Let’s see,” without elaborating.
While there is still no official confirmation from either side, these hints continue to fuel curiosity among fans. For many, this feels like yet another sign that something beyond friendship could be brewing between the two stars.
