Bollywood senior actress Raveena Tandon recently shared a heartfelt clarification about past rumours of rivalry and insecurities during her career, especially related to the iconic film Andaz Apna Apna.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Raveena responded to an old claim involving fellow actress Karisma Kapoor. The claim, originally mentioned by costume designer Ashley Rebello, suggested that Karisma had allegedly sent team members to check Raveena’s costumes during the film’s shoot.
Addressing this, Raveena firmly denied ever being insecure or indulging in what she described as “classroom politics.” She emphasized that throughout her career, she has remained content in her own space and grateful for the opportunities life has given her. According to her, she never felt the need to compete in unhealthy ways or disrespect her contemporaries.
In her statement, she highlighted her belief in staying grounded and trusting her journey, adding that she has always felt blessed by God. She also mentioned that people who truly know her would understand her nature and values.
Raveena concluded her post on a positive note by expressing affection and respect for Ashley Rebello, despite the resurfaced claim.
