The trailer of Ravi Babu directorial, Crrush which released early last year suggested that the film is loaded with bold scenes. It is the tale of four youngsters who fantasise on the same lady.
It is safe to say that Crrush is an A-rated film, given its theme and set-up.
Now, the Ravi Babu directorial is heading the OTT way as ZEE5 has bagged the direct to digital rights of the film.
Crrush will be streaming on ZEE5 from the 9th of this month and an official announcement will be made very soon.
The film stars Abhay Simha, Ankita Manoj, and others in lead roles. Given the theme of the film, it might gain some traction on OTT platforms as content like this usually attract a large section of digital audiences.

Veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao remains one of the finest performers Indian cinema has ever produced. His passing created a huge void in the film industry, and his contribution to cinema is truly irreplaceable. However, there is a moment of pride for his fans and Telugu cinema lovers. During the 98th Academy Awards ceremony, the legendary actor was remembered in the prestigious “In Memoriam” segment.
The Academy annually honours prominent film personalities from around the world who passed away during the previous year. Only a select group of legendary figures are included in this tribute, and Kota Srinivasa Rao was among them, marking a proud moment for Indian and Telugu cinema.
Along with him, several other noted personalities from Indian cinema were also honoured in the segment. Veteran actors Dharmendra, Manoj Kumar, and B. Saroja Devi were remembered during the ceremony. Internationally renowned Hollywood stars such as Rob Reiner, Robert Redford, Robert Duvall, Catherine O’Hara, and Diane Keaton were also honoured.
Born on July 10, 1942, Kota Srinivasa Rao initially began his career as a bank employee before stepping into films. Over the years, he built an extraordinary career, acting in more than 700 films across Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages. Apart from cinema, he also served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly from the Vijayawada East constituency between 1999 and 2004, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party.
