Film makers fighting over titles is nothing new for Tollywood. It happened recently with Balakrishna’s Lion too and now it is the turn of Ravi Teja and Sundeep Kishan. It is known that Ravi Teja is planning a film in the direction of ‘Racha’ fame Sampath Nandi and it is titled ‘Bengal Tiger’. The film title is registered long ago in film chamber by Sampath Nandi.
And on the other hand, Sundeep Kishan is shooting for a film titled ‘Tiger’. Bengal Tiger producers have filed an objection with film chamber that Sundeep Kishan can not be give a similar title to Bengal Tiger. However film chamber is hesitant to interfere in this as Sundeep Kishan’s Tiger is 75% complete while Bengal Tiger is yet to begin.
The makers of Tiger are stubborn on retaining the title as they feel it will go well with their story and also the title became popular with audience. However it is said that Ravi Teja is trying to show his balupu on the small film using his contacts and influence in the film industry. Bengal Tiger is expected hit the floors from March, 2015 and further details are expected shortly.
