Director Karunakaran and Pawan Kalyan share a great bond both professionally and personally. In fact, Karunakaran made his directorial debut Tholiprema in 1998 with Pawan in the lead. While the film turned out to be blockbuster and brought super stardom to Pawan, it cemented the position of director Karunakaran in the industry.
Since then, Karunakaran never looked back and made nine films in a career spanning over 15 years. Among his filmography what stands separate, admittedly, is the films he directed Pawan – Tholiprema and Balu. Naturally, the director is keen to teaming up with Pawan again if he gets the opportunity.
