Redmi 15C 5G Debuts in India with 6.9-inch Display, 6000mAh Battery

Redmi has officially launched the Redmi 15C 5G in India today, 11 December, with sales beginning at 12 noon IST. Entering the highly competitive budget 5G market, the smartphone aims to attract value-focused buyers with a strong blend of performance, battery life, and display features.

Key Specifications

The Redmi 15C 5G features a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and immersive viewing experience. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, built to comfortably manage daily usage and moderate multitasking.

Running on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, the smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery, one of the largest in its segment. Redmi claims that the included 33W Turbo Charging can refuel the battery to 50% in just 28 minutes.

For photography, the handset houses a 50MP AI dual rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device offers up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via microSD. It also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

6GB + 128GB – ₹13,999

8GB + 128GB – ₹15,499

The smartphone is now available on Mi.com, major e-commerce platforms, and authorised offline retail stores across India. Buyers can choose from Midnight Black, Moonlight Blue, and Dusk Purple colour options.
