Telangana assembly main gate witnessed tensed atmosphere on Friday when police and chief marshal stopped fire brand T-TDP leader Revanth Reddy from entering into the Assembly.
When police officials and marshals informed him that they have specific orders from speaker not to allow suspended MLAs enter into the assembly, Revanth Reddy thundered ” If you have any such orders, show it to me in writing”.
Chief Marshal then replied ” we have got oral orders but nothing official in writing”. This fired Revanth Reddy who vented his ire on the officials. He argued ” It is not right for you people to say that elected MLAs don’t have right to enter into the house.
Speaker suspended us from participating in the assembly session and not from entering into the premises”. TDP MLAs who were present at the TTDLP meeting at once came in support of Reveanth reddy.
Finally Revanth was allowed to go into the assembly lobby. Revanth Reddy warned ” If you people behave in such manner in future, you will face legal action”.
