Revanth Reddy’s Climax Jibe Triggers KTR’s Sharp Response

For the past few months, Telangana politics has been dominated by controversies surrounding the Kaleshwaram Project scam, the Formula E case, and a recent high-profile drug bust. In a recent informal interaction with the media, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed some of these burning issues.

During the conversation, Revanth Reddy issued a stern warning, asserting that several senior BRS leaders allegedly involved in fraudulent activities would be jailed “at the right time.” He even remarked, “They will all be locked up in the climax,” suggesting that major arrests could be expected towards the end of the Congress government’s tenure in Telangana.

This provocative statement didn’t sit well with KTR (K.T. Rama Rao), who issued a sharp rebuttal. Clearly irked, KTR said,

“Until now, I’ve shown restraint out of respect for the Chief Minister’s office. But Revanth, on what basis are you claiming I am linked to any drug case?
Do you have a shred of proof? Has any case been filed against me?
I challenge you to come forward with evidence or admit that these are nothing but your cheap, vulgar, and baseless allegations.”

KTR’s response reflects his clear displeasure and firm denial of any involvement in the drug case, escalating the already intense political rivalry between the BRS and the Congress government in Telangana.
