There is not one topic that maverick director Ram Gopal Varma doesn’t want. He responds to every issue and makes unnecessary comments which often become the center of attraction. He uses them to promote himself all the time and stay in news. He turned from a brilliant director into a freak who seeks attention all the time through controversial tweets.
Recently, the biggies of the Telugu Film Industry met Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and discussed the ticket rates and other issues. Megastar Chiranjeevi took the initiative and stars like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Rajamouli, Koratala Siva and others attended the meeting. During the meet with CM Jagan, we can see Chiranjeevi explaining everything in a clear manner and requesting Jagan with folded hands to support them.
A lot of people appreciated Megastar for not minding his stature and working towards the welfare of this industry. But RGV saw it as an opportunity to create controversy. He took to Twitter and wrote, “Sir Chiranjeevi gaaru, as a mega fan of u I am mega hurted with ur MEGA BEGGING. it is this attitude of a fearful Slave like dialogue is what will disappoint mega fans like us of u who are mega hurted with ur MEGA BEGGING.”
This definitely did not go down well with fans and lovers of Telugu cinema. They are bashing RGV for commenting on a great personality like Chiranjeevi. Some of them are questioning what does RGV know about manners while he does is drinks and dances with girls along with showing up with a red hoodie for his meeting with government officials. There are a few who are suggesting RGV to concentrate on quality in his films rather than making such senseless comments.
