Rich Telangana Fails To Pay Medical Bills?

With all their repeated requests to the KCR government to clear their long pending bills going down the drain, the private hospitals JAC in Telangana has decided to boycott the Aarogyasri facilities in all the hospitals across the state starting from today.The Telangana government is yet to clear the bills amounting to Rs. 350 crores to several private hospitals in the region over the past 9 months.

Meanwhile, the Aarogyasri Trust CEO Dr. M. Chandrasekhar has requested the private hospitals JAC to continue their services without causing any disturbances to patients.The CEO also assured that payments to all the hospitals under the Aarogyasri network have been processed as promised and the the money will be debited to their accounts on Monday.

“An amount of Rs.191 crore will be released by the Aarogyasri Trust soon and the balance amount too will be released within the next few days,” said the CEO.
