After the massive success of Kantara: Chapter 1, Rishab Shetty is now gearing up for his next cinematic venture. The actor has been confirmed to star in the sequel to Hanu-Man, directed by Prashanth Varma.
Titled Jai Hanuman, the upcoming film will center entirely on the story of Lord Hanuman, promising an epic narrative. The shoot is slated to begin in December 2025, with Prashanth Varma currently engaged in pre-production preparations. At present, Rishab Shetty is fully focused on Jai Hanuman and is not involved in any other projects.
Recently, Rishab Shetty visited the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore, where he offered prayers and officially announced that Jai Hanuman will be his next film. While there had been discussions about Kantara: Chapter 2, nothing has been finalized regarding his involvement.
In addition to Jai Hanuman, Rishab Shetty has The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, directed by Sandeep Singh, on his slate. Meanwhile, Prashanth Varma has Zombie Reddy 2 in the pipeline but will not be directing it, allowing him to fully dedicate himself to Jai Hanuman. With both the actor and director aligned, expectations are high for this mythological spectacle.
