Top director SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus multistarrer ‘RRR’ was released grandly amidst huge hype and expectations on 25th March. The film managed to impress everyone and is smashing records left right and center. While the official Day1 collections across the world are yet to be announced. It is creating havoc in the US market.
The film minted $3 million from the premiers itself and by 11:45 AM PST, the gigantic film crossed the $4.50 million mark which includes premiers as well as Day1 collections. This is a huge feat as many films don’t collect $4million during their entire run in theatres but ‘RRR’ crossed the $4.5 million mark without breaking a sweat.
The film is getting a lot of appreciation from the audience and critics. Despite a few people pointing out some flaws, it bagged a universal good talk and the bookings have rapidly increased in the Hindi market too. With this speed, the Rajamouli directorial is surely going to create some new records at the Indian box office.
‘RRR’ is produced by DVV Danayya over a budget of over 400 crores. The lead actors delivered stupendous performances and MM Keeravani is the music composer who is one of the main pillars in the film’s success. Alia Bhatt is playing the role of Sita in this film while Ajay Devgn appears in a brief role. Olivia Morris is also a part of the film and she looked very cute.
Apart from a few noted Hollywood actors, ‘RRR’ has actors like Shriya Saran, Rajeev Kanakala, Samuthirakani and others did key roles. NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju in this massive film which is set in the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. Senthil Kumar is the director of photography while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Srinivas Mohan is the VFX supervisor for this huge project. Let us wait and see how many records the film shatters in the coming days.
