NTR Becomes Second Most-Discussed Celebrity in India on Twitter
Armax Media recently conducted a survey on popular celebrities, tracking who generated the most discussion on Twitter. The results, released on the platform, have quickly gone viral. Surprisingly, among the most-discussed personalities in India, South superstar N. T. Rama Rao Jr. (NTR) secured the second spot, right after Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to the survey, which analyzed Twitter activity from August 1 to August 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi topped the list. Young Tiger NTR, who was in third place in July, climbed to the second spot, much to the delight of his fans. The rankings were based on the number of posts and interactions by Indian users throughout the month.
The top ten most-discussed personalities in India for August are as follows: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in first place, NTR in second, Kollywood star and TKV Party leader Vijay Dalapathi in third, Andhra Pradesh DCM and Power Star Pawan Kalyan in fourth, cricketer Shubman Gill in fifth, Rahul Gandhi in sixth, Virat Kohli in seventh, Mahesh Babu in eighth, M. S. Dhoni in ninth, and Rajinikanth in tenth. The list has sparked widespread discussion on social media. Notably, NTR securing the second spot, right after the Prime Minister, is being widely praised.
NTR has firmly established his unique identity in the film industry. He achieved global recognition with RRR, followed by Devar, directed by Koratala Siva, which silently crossed the 600-crore mark. He then announced the upcoming Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. NTR also made his Bollywood debut with War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, which released on August 14. This film further boosted discussions about him, not just in South India but across Bollywood audiences as well. These successes contributed to his heightened presence on social media, helping him claim the second spot in August, right behind Prime Minister Modi.
