S Krishna, a longtime associate of blockbuster filmmaker Anil Ravipudi, makes his directorial debut with the upcoming film HIGH, in which he also serves as writer, actor, and co-producer. The project is produced by Harish Peddi, S Krishna, and Sekhar Divvela under the banners Imagespark Entertainment and Myra Creations.
With production nearing completion, the makers recently unveiled the theatrical teaser, which was launched digitally by veteran actor Venkatesh. The teaser introduces four parallel narratives, each exploring a unique interpretation of “high” — through pain, escape, identity, and risk. One story follows a woman who hires a contract killer to end her suffering, another depicts a man descending into addiction in pursuit of money and liquor, while a young woman fights to reclaim her dignity, and her lover pursues the thrill of life-threatening bets.
S Krishna’s directorial approach promises an emotionally intense drama, supported by powerful performances from Ananya Sharma, S Krishna, Pallavi Dora, Krishna Kamal, Sai Krishna, and Bulliraju. Cinematographers Mallu Nayak and Suneel Reddy bring a gritty visual texture to the film, complemented by Vikasa Badisa’s dynamic musical score that elevates every scene.
The teaser indicates that HIGH is set to offer a gripping, unconventional cinematic experience. The official release date will be announced soon.
