Story: Karthik(Ravi Teja) and Sandhya(Kajal) meet in Europe through a friend. Sandhya falls for Karthik in her first sight. They both happen to travel to India in the same Flight. Sandhya tries hard to make Karthik fall in love and finally proposes. Karthik smoothly rejects her saying that he is already married to Vasudha(Richa). What happens after that? How the story ends is what the rest of the movie is about?
Performances: Raviteja is good. He tried a different role and underplayed the emotions well. His growing age is visible on his face. Kajal got a role to perform and she is okay. Richa is okay and performed well in emotional scenes. Nara Rohit impresses in a small cameo. The remaining artists filled the screen. The art work is good. Cinematography is good. Editing could have been better. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is not so impressive, only a couple of numbers are okay. Story is a simple and sensitive one, The Screenplay is good in some places. The Direction could have been better. The production values are rich.
Analysis: After a series of flops Ravi Teja once again experimented with a class story (supposed to be feel good love story). Ravi Teja is badly in need of a Hit Right now, Parasuram who directed Raviteja’s “Anjaneyulu” directed him again. This time he tried a different characterization with complete class/family touch.
Director Parasuram’s last flick was Nara Rohith’s SOLO which was an Average movie liked by many fun lovers; but the Director failed here in generating the required depth and feel in this so called love story. Parusuram’s Dialogues are okay in few scenes. Devi Sri Prasad is definitely not in his shoes in the Music section, all the songs looked passable and “Raccha Rambola” is okay to some extent. The Background score is not up to the mark. Art work by the debutant SAHI SURESH is good, in a couple of songs the sets looked innovative. The Cinematography is good and all the frames looked colourful. It’s has been a long time we have seen the green landscapes of OOTY. The Production values by Three Angels Studio are rich.
M.S.Narayana tried to evoke laughs in the first half but it didn’t last long. Srinivas Reddy was wasted. The complete second half bores you with predictable and dragged Scenes. Nara Rohith is impressive, his characterization was good but he is restricted to a couple of scenes and a prolonged speech(What ever the Director wanted to convey) towards the climax. Movie of this genre need few heart touching scenes, good fun & romance filled love Story and some believable scenes with logic. This movie lacks all of them. The Story and Screenplay are predictable and the Direction is boring in the Second half.
These kind of stories need a romantic Hero who can underplay his character with subtle behaviour. Ravi Teja was a wrong choice. The Heroines have strong character oriented roles but the scope for their performance is lacking in the scenes. Lack of entertainment is a big minus. The first half also has many slow moments. It’s tough to be received even at the ‘A’ Centers also.
