Sachin Tendulkar hospitalised on doctors advice, days after testing positive for Covid-19

Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who had tested positive for the novel Coronavirus earlier this week has been admitted to a hospital as a precautionary measure.

The Batting Maestro informed the same on his Twitter handle. In his tweet, he said, he was admitted to the hospital on the doctors’ advice and urged everyone to take care and be safe.

Sachin Tendulkar got admitted to a hospital when the nation is celebrating the decade of winning the 50 overs World Cup after 28 long years.

“Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone. Wishing all Indians & my teammates on the 10th anniversary of our World Cup win,” Tendulkar tweeted.

Sachin Tendulkar was the first Indian cricketer to test positive for Covid. He led the India legends team in the Raod Safety World Series. After Sachin, Yusuf Pathan, Badrinath, and Irfan Pathan had come in contact with the virus.
