After her recent appearance in Arjun: Son of Vyjayanthi, Saiee Manjrekar is returning to Telugu cinema with The India House, starring opposite Nikhil Siddhartha. But for Saiee, this isn’t just another film—it’s a reflection of a changing industry and a space she’s excited to grow in.
In a candid conversation, Saiee spoke about how the film industry is finally beginning to understand the voice and vibe of Gen Z. “The industry is just starting to catch up with Gen Z—and I’m living for it,” she said with enthusiasm. The shift in storytelling and representation, she feels, is creating more meaningful roles and authentic narratives.
Despite coming from a prominent film family, Saiee isn’t one to follow the conventional path. She’s determined to build her own identity, driven by a deep passion for storytelling across languages. “Language should never limit creativity,” she affirmed, crediting her parents for encouraging that perspective. Whether it’s Hindi, Marathi, or Telugu, Saiee chooses projects that speak to her.
