Director Sailesh Kolanu, known for his gripping storytelling in the HIT franchise, has taken the intensity up a notch in the third installment featuring Nani in the lead. Released on Thursday, HIT: The Third Case opened to a strong response, with audiences praising its darker tone and engaging narrative. As expected, the film ends with a teaser for HIT: The Fourth Case, sparking curiosity about the future of the series.
In a recent interview, Sailesh revealed his plans for the next chapter. While he hasn’t confirmed whether HIT 4 will be his immediate next project, he assured fans that it will remain an investigative thriller — but with a new flavor that sets it apart from the earlier films.
Interestingly, Sailesh also expressed his desire to explore a completely different genre. “I have an idea for a rom-com, and I’m quite excited about it,” he shared.
The director is planning to take some time off to focus on writing. “It’s been a while since I spent quality time with my son. My wife and I have decided to travel and take a break. We’re heading to Sydney and will be staying there for a few months. I want to fully dedicate this time to writing and developing fresh ideas,” he added.
With both HIT 4 and a potential romantic comedy in the pipeline, fans can look forward to seeing new sides of Sailesh Kolanu’s creative vision.
