Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for the grand release of his high-budget action entertainer Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal, is set to hit the big screens on March 30th.

As part of the promotional campaign, Salman interacted with the Bollywood media in Mumbai last night. During the interaction, he was asked about his much-anticipated collaboration with Tamil director Atlee, known for his blockbuster Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan.

Salman confirmed that Atlee has written a massive big-budget action film, but the project has been delayed due to budget constraints. He also revealed that a senior star—either Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan—is expected to be a part of the film whenever it materializes.

Adding to the excitement, Salman made a surprise announcement about his next big venture after Sikandar—a high-octane action film alongside Sanjay Dutt. He described it as a “rustic action-packed film on another level.”

Addressing the challenges of making a pan-India film, Salman admitted that bringing together Bollywood and South stars in a single project is not always easy. Meanwhile, rumors have surfaced that Atlee is now considering Allu Arjun for the lead role initially designed for Salman, while Sivakarthikeyan is reportedly being eyed for the role intended for Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan.

Further clarity on this much-awaited project is expected in the coming days.
