May 6th is likely to have a nail-biting finish to a case which was stretched beyond 13 years. On the intervening of September 28, 2002, a drunk Salman Khan rammed his car into a roadside shop in suburban Bandra, killing one person and injuring four people who were sleeping on the pavement.
The case is chasing Salman Khan since then and now reached its climax. The sessions court trailing this case will pronounce the final judgement on May 6th. We will have to see if Salman Khan escapes from the cases after he fielded a fake witness, Ashok Singh, his driver who admitted that it is he who drove the car that night.
The case was booked under Section 304 Part II (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and the maximum jail term in such case will be up to 10 years imprisonment. On the other side, Salman Khan’s case of hunting the rare Blackbucks 16 years ago is also nearing completion.
