Her next project under the banner is Maa Inti Bangaram, in which she plays the lead role. However, there haven’t been many updates about the film’s progress. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Samantha is preparing to begin another project as a producer.
Determined to make her mark as a producer, Samantha seems to be taking one step at a time. Although Maa Inti Bangaram was initially announced as her first production, Shubham released earlier. Now, she is reportedly planning her third film under the banner, based on an idea from a debut director that impressed her. Once the final script is ready, casting will begin. Industry talk suggests this new project will explore a completely different genre and will be made on a limited budget.
While it’s common to see top actresses in Bollywood turn producers, it is rare in Telugu cinema. Samantha, who is still one of the leading heroines, taking up production alongside acting has delighted her fans.
On the acting front, Samantha was last seen in Kushi. Although Maa Inti Bangaram is yet to get an official update, she is also said to be teaming up again with Raj & DK for another Hindi web series. Balancing films and production, Samantha appears to be choosing female-centric stories as her top priority, while also considering commercial films—provided her roles are impactful and meaningful.
She has reportedly made it clear that even with Tier-2 heroes, she will only sign films where her character stands out.
