Samantha Ruth Prabhu turned Samantha Akkineni recently after she got married to young actor Naga Chaitanya. With no regrets, the duo got their blessings from their wedding after which the preparations are on.
However a section of media has been speculating that Samatha’s parents are not quite happy for her to marry Chaitu and this is the reason most of her close relatives have not been seen in her wedding. However a picture of Samantha’s parents blessing the new couple finally kept an end for the rumours.
Trashing all these, Samantha revealed saying “My parents lead a simple life and they don’t even watch films. It may be a surprise, but my parents are not aware that I am a big actress in South Indian cinema. My home doesn’t see even my awards however a picture of me with Chaitu during the shoot of Em Maya Chesave will be at my home“.
She further added, “My parents knew that Chaitu is my best friend and they are well aware that I am in safe hands. They are quite happy that I am getting to my best friend and turning out the daughter-in-law of the great Akkinenis“.
