Beautiful actress Samantha is known for playing challenging roles and everyone knows that she can pull the crowd with her brilliant acting skills, and charming smile. But, unfortunately, a popular Mumbai-based online portal called her a flop heroine after her recent film ‘Jaanu’ cannot be called a blockbuster hit.
Audiences blamed her for the failure of the film and called her a flop heroine as it could not make as big as the original one, 96.
In a recent interview, Sam has reacted on being called ‘flop heroine’, and told that how much ever hard heroines work, audiences do not appreciate.
“How much ever hard heroines work, audiences don’t appreciate. But if a star hero, in the film, is just seen walking, they go gaga over him. Such is the craze they have. Even if that hero gets three back to back flops, they watch the fourth film happily. Unfortunately, audiences blame the heroine of the hero’s flop,” said the actress.
“When compared to the kind of attraction that fans have, heroines don’t even get one percent of it,” she added.
On the work front, Samantha will next be seen playing a terrorist in the second season of Amazon Prime’s The Family Man. For this show, she teamed up with Manoj Bajpayee and this marks the digital debut of the actress.
But, we sincerely feel, Samantha is a ‘power-house’ of talent that the film industry is blessed with ? !
