Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo released: Specifications, price, other details

Samsung has launched an entry level smartphone, the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo in South Africa a few days after releasing the Galaxy J2 (2016) and the Galaxy J Max from J-series. The new device has been listed on the company’s official website without mentioning its pricing and availability.

Available in white, black and blue colours, the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo sports a 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with 480×800 screen resolution, measures 130.1×67.6×9.5 in dimension and weighs 131 g. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, and comes packed with 8GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, and a 1GB RAM. It features a 5MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture, flash, and auto focus, a 2MP front-snapper, and an HD (1280 x 720) video recording resolution.

The device android device is powered by a 1900mAh battery, and supports single-SIM (micro-SIM), USB 2.0, GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm stereo earjack, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz.The South Korean technology giant hasn’t revealed the price of the smartphone but it is expected to be priced under Rs. 7,000, as its predecessor Galaxy J1 Ace that was released last year is priced at Rs. 5,850.

It may be mentioned that the Galaxy J1 Ace sports a 4.3-inch WVGA super AMOLED display with 800×480 resolutions, powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It comes packed with a 4GB internal storage, expandable up to 64GB via microSD card, a 512MB RAM, a 5-MP main camera with auto-focus and LED flash, a 2MP front-snapper, and a 1,800mAh battery.
