Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition in India, a rugged 5G-enabled tablet tailored for industries operating in challenging environments. Available for advance booking starting 18 August, the tablet is priced at ₹49,999 for the 6GB+128GB model and ₹56,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant.

Designed for sectors such as defence, public safety, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail, the Galaxy Tab Active5 features an 8-inch 120Hz display, MIL-STD-810H certification, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an IP68-rated S Pen. It runs on Android 15, supports up to 1TB of expandable storage, and offers a replaceable 5,050mAh battery with a “No Battery Mode” for continuous power operation.

The Enterprise Edition includes a 36-month warranty (12 months for the battery), seven years of software updates, and a one-year subscription to Samsung Knox Suite. Businesses also receive access to bundled enterprise solutions, including Samsung SDS’s Brity Works collaboration platform, limited Brity Copilot AI tools, complimentary Zello push-to-talk services until December 2025, and discounts of up to 50% on Google Workspace subscriptions.

Connectivity options include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC, with additional enterprise-friendly features such as programmable keys, biometric authentication, and loud speakers for noisy workplaces. The device ships with a rugged back cover, data cable, and S Pen included.
