Samsung has expanded its 2026 product lineup with the global launch of its latest AI-powered portable projector, the Freestyle+, unveiled just days ahead of CES 2026. Designed to combine portability with intelligent viewing enhancements, the new projector introduces advanced AI-driven features aimed at delivering a consistent and immersive entertainment experience across environments.

At the core of the Freestyle+ is AI OptiScreen, Samsung’s new screen optimisation technology that automatically adjusts picture quality based on the projection surface and surrounding conditions. The system supports auto keystone correction, real-time autofocus, screen fitting, and wall calibration, ensuring optimal visuals without manual intervention. Enhancing this further is Vision AI Companion, Samsung’s personalised AI platform that integrates Bixby with intelligent services to adapt content and viewing preferences.

The projector offers 430 ISO Lumens of brightness, providing clearer and more vibrant visuals compared to its predecessor. Its signature 180-degree rotating design allows users to project content on walls, ceilings, or angled surfaces with ease, reinforcing its versatility for both indoor and outdoor use.

On the entertainment front, the Freestyle+ comes with built-in access to Samsung TV Plus, certified OTT streaming partners, Samsung Gaming Hub, and a 360-degree integrated speaker, making it a complete all-in-one entertainment device without the need for external hardware.

Speaking about the launch, Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, stated that the Freestyle+ reflects Samsung’s focus on blending true portability with intelligent AI that enhances both the environment and the content, enabling users to enjoy a high-quality viewing experience anywhere.

Samsung will showcase the AI Freestyle+ projector at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, scheduled from January 6 to January 9. The company has reportedly planned a phased global rollout, with availability expected to expand across markets by the first half of 2026.
